‘If you want something said, ask a man; if you want something done, ask a woman’

Margaret Thatcher’s words seem to be taken seriously by the St. Mary’s Volleyball Women’s 1st team.

The team has been on a winning streak during the BUCS Volleyball 2016-2017 - South Eastern 2A.

They will want to take this momentum into the West London Varsity 2017 as they commence their game at 2 pm in Brunel’s Sports Hall on Wednesday, 29th March.

They posted a comfortable win 3-1 in their previous match of the BUCS Volleyball 2016-2017 against Kingston University Women’s 1st.

The team has been on top of their game as they finished at second position on the points table. They won six out of their ten matches.

Whereas, the St. Mary’s Volleyball Men’s 1st team finished at fifth position on the points table, after registering only one victory out of the eight games they played in the BUCS Volleyball 2016-2017 - South Eastern 3A.

In fact, the team has had a single victory since February 2016. This win was awarded to them in the form of a walkover as the opponents failed to field a team.

The team will look to turn the tables and register a win in the West London Varsity 2017 Men’s event beginning at 12 pm in the Sports Hall.
