Experienced Fijian’s expect young talent to excel against a strong Barbarian side at Twickenham.

By Jake Jones and Callum Room

The Flying Fijians are training in London ahead of this weekend’s fixture with Eddie Jones’ Barbarians.

In their first outing since exiting the 2019 Rugby World Cup at the group stage, Head Coach John McKee has selected a mixture of heavily experienced players, alongside a number of young debutants for his side.

Earlier, our reporters Callum Room and Jake Jones were pitch side during the Fijian training session and spoke to a number of the players regarding this weekend’s clash.

Confidence is high in the Fijian camp, with many of them eager to upset the odds and beat a Barbarian side full of World Cup winners.
