Michael Kammarman is the Head Press Officer for the US men’s national soccer team. He joined the Sports Gazette podcast to talk about how international football has been affected by Covid. He gave an inside perspective on the rising generation of American footballers and how they see the fixture congested year ahead. Kammarman was in the locker room when the US unexpectedly failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, he gives the story behind that night and details the challenges of CONCACAF that Europeans may not understand. Plus the excitement of hosting the World Cup in 2026.
