Sports Gazette Lockdown/Coronavirus Podcast 2.0 – India, South Africa and South Korea

In this weeks episode host Alex Bartlett chats to reporters Thomas Clark, Inam Yaphi and Pranav Shahaney about the ongoing situations in India, South Africa and South Korea. He is also joined by special guest James Pike, from Podium eSports, to talk about the rapid rise of iRacing during the coronavirus.

The boys also discuss some of the weeks biggest sports stories including Premier League wages and the cancellation of Wimbledon before finishing with their top three sports movies of all time to keep you all busy during the crisis.

    Alex did his undergraduate degree in History at the University of Leicester. A lifelong sports enthusiast, his first experience of journalism came working for his university magazine, where he went on to edit the sports section. He has also hosted a weekly football talk show for three years, discussing a wide range of topics including the misfortunes of his beloved West Ham. He has a particular interest in the relationship between sport and politics, which formed the basis of a dissertation project on sports role in ending apartheid in South Africa.
