AFC Wimbledon host highflyers Leyton Orient at Plough Lane in League Two on Tuesday night following a shaky performance in the FA Cup.

The Dons drew 1-1 away at National League South side Weymouth on Saturday in the first
round.

After taking an early lead through Ayoub Assal on the south coast, they were lucky to hold
on to the draw following a spirited comeback from the Terras.

Manager Johnnie Jackson has urged his players to ask more of themselves ahead of their
tough fixture against league leaders Orient.

The Wombles are unbeaten in their last three league games and have taken seven points
from a possible 15, including a dramatic 3-2 win over Harrogate Town last Saturday.

Orient are also on an unbeaten streak, winning three and drawing two of their last five, and
they will be looking to extend their lead at the top with a rare victory against their London
rivals.

The Dons and The O’s have met just four times previously with Wimbledon boasting the
better record, winning two and drawing one with both wins coming on home turf.

Orient came out victorious in the last encounter, winning 2-0 at Brisbane Road in the
Football League Trophy.

Jackson’s men escaped injury free against Weymouth and will be hoping top scorer Josh
Davidson can help break down the watertight Orient backline to kickstart Wimbledon’s
season.
