England go into the 2022 World Cup on a run of six games without a win.
This is their longest winless run for 29 years (since 1993) and their longest-ever winless run going into a major tournament.
It is the 16th time England have competed in the World Cup Finals and are looking to achieve their first win since 1966.
Their biggest win in the tournament was their 6-1 victory against Panama in the group stages in Russia four years ago.
Whilst their heaviest defeat was their 4-1 loss to Germany in the Round of 16 in 2010.
England Qualifying
The Three Lions went unbeaten in their qualifying campaign.
1-1 draws against Hungary and Poland preventing them from attaining a 100% record.
Striker Harry Kane was their top scorer in during qualification scoring 12 goals.
He was also the joint top scorer from all nations in the UEFA qualifying stage, tieing the Netherlands’ Memphis Depay on 12 goals.
Fans will be hoping he can replicate his efforts from the 2018 World Cup and win another Golden Boot.
