The Dons look to extend their six-game unbeaten run in the league, despite a disappointing exit from the FA Cup at the hands of Chesterfield last weekend.

After their Cup exit, manager Johnnie Jackson said:

“It was a pretty flat performance from us considering where we’ve been. We perhaps paid the price of the tough schedule and the run of games we’ve had.

Wimbledon played eight games in November competing across three separate competitions, successfully progressing to the Southern Round of 16 in the EFL trophy.

The Dons currently sit 13th in the League Two table.

Grimsby come into tomorrow’s game in contrasting form to Wimbledon’s.

The Mariners won their second-round FA Cup tie last weekend 2-1 away at Cambridge United, thanks to a last-minute winner from Otis Khan.

Manager Paul Hurst said:

“I thought we had done enough in general to win the game but with the equaliser, you concede that you’d probably have to go again, but now we can look forward to the draw.

“It’s always nice to have a cup run, as it isn’t something we experience often, but we want to now take this back into the league.”

Grimsby hope that this is the game where they can turn their recent league form around.

The Mariners have failed to win their last five League Two games.

Their barren run has meant they’ve fallen to 16th in the League Two table.

Despite this, they are still 10 points clear of the relegation zone, and a win against AFC Wimbledon will mean they leapfrog them in the table.
