Belgium started their World Cup campaign with a 1-0 win over Canada on Wednesday night.

Despite the result, The Red Devils were unconvincing, with Canada missing a penalty and several big chances throughout the match.

Roberto Martinez will look for more from his side when they face off against Morocco at 13:00(UK) on Sunday.

It remains to be seen whether the Spaniard will stick to his ever-trusted old guard against the North African side or will his younger players get a chance to shine.

Senior centre halves Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen looked off the pace in the opening match.

With Wout Faes and Zeno Debast waiting in the wings, this game could be the last chance for the pair to keep their places in the national side.

Axel Witsel, another experienced member of the Belgian squad, similarly struggled to deal with the energy of the Canadians.

Despite these concerns, many expect Martinez to persist with his tried and trusted veterans.

Michy Batshuayi will also keep his place following his goal against Canada.

Fellow striker Romelu Lukaku remains unavailable through injury.

Eden Hazard will aim to take another step closer to full fitness as he showed elements of his old self throughout his 60 minutes in Wednesday’s game.

Kevin De Bruyne hopes to have an impact against Morroco.

Despite winning the Man of the Match award, the playmaker was ineffective throughout the 90 minutes.

Morocco come into this game off the back of a 0-0 draw with Croatia in their opening game.

The North African side limited the Croatians to few clear-cut chances and were the happier of the two sides with the result.

Despite their lack of goals last time out, it’s only been one week since Hakim Ziyech scored from 45 yards out against Oman.

The Atlas Lions will be looking towards their talisman to produce up top along with Soufianne Boufal to potentially secure a famous win.

Walid Regragui’s side will also look to maintain their well-drilled organisation and hope they can contain the Belgians.

Morocco were content with the point against Croatia.

However, they will be looking to claim all three against a Belgian side that may be there for the taking.
