Tumbling World Team Champion Dominic Mensah on life as an elite gymnast

Great Britain women’s and men’s tumbling teams won gold at the Trampoline, Tumbling and DMT World Championships in Tokyo last year.

2-time British champion Dominic Mensah was part of the men’s winning team last November, which added to his array of achievements and medals from his 13-year tumbling career so far.

The gymnast who trains in West London is in his second year at St Mary’s University, studying Sports Communication and Marketing, which he fits in along side his 16 hour training week. But even with his busy schedule he always makes time for friends and family which is extremely important to him.

Our reporter Laoishe MacCana visited Mensah at his training gym, so click the video below to find out more.
