Video: Emily Phillips on sport climbing and Tokyo 2020

Team GB climber Emily Phillips is looking forward to sport climbing’s debut at the Olympic Games this summer.

With three disciplines – lead, speed and bouldering – Emily is confident that climbing will offer a breath of fresh air into the Games and she is hopeful not only for her sport to be showcased well but also that it will inspire a new generation to take up the sport she knows so well.

    Emily, 22, was born in Ireland and has recently graduated from Cardiff University with a BA degree in Journalism.
